A Moses bassinet is a beautiful wicker basket that keeps the infant snug and secure. It is aptly named because Moses was nestled in a wicker basket when he was placed in the river. The Moses type of bassinet is a rocker as well, just as you see in the Eddie Bauer and Graco models. It also looks just as antique as a wooden rocker and will last through the generations to become a family heirloom. With this bassinet, the wheels lock to make it stationary when you don't want to have the rocking motion and they also make it portable because you can wheel it all over the house. Another portable feature is that you can remove the sleeping section from the base for travel or even to bring the baby for a walk.
