Put on a crib tent and keep everything inside

A crib tent is essential if you have pets in the house and you do not want to take a chance that they might get in the baby crib with the infant. It is made of sturdy mesh and fits into all standard sized baby cribs.The tent has a Velcro loop system and tow end panels so that you can fasten it securely to the baby crib. To make the top of the baby crib seem like a tent, there is a large semicircular nylon zipper that converts one side of the tent into a door. The frame of this crib canopy is made up of two arched roof rods that come in three sections. There are also two straight side rods that some in two sections.

When putting up the tent over the baby crib, it is important that you don't get the rods mixed up. If you do, then you will run into trouble installing the canopy over the infant crib. They are not color coded, so you really do have to look at the shape of the rods while you are putting up the tent. When you want to take down the canopy, it doesn't take as long to take the rods out. The mesh tent is washable, so you don't have to worry if other children in the house touch it with messy hands.

Another great use for the tent is to keep the toddler from getting into or out of the baby crib when you are not around. It also keeps things inside the crib, such as toys and bottles that the children tend to toss out and then cry to get them back. The mesch is see through so that you can see the infant asleep in the baby crib and when you put the toddler down for a nap, he/she can still see around the nursery.

The tent is large, but it collpases very easily so you won't have any problem taking it with you when you travel. It is sold separstely from the baby crib. Some parents find that having the tent on the crib makes it harder to reach in the baby crib to change the bedding, but they so leave the canopy in place until they have to adjust the height of the mattress.
